Boarding

High quality care at a top-notch facility.

All boarder horses at Bright Farms are treated with the highest quality care. Boarders are required to lesson or have training rides twice a month by head trainer Kristen Goldin. A highly experienced former veterinary tech is on staff to supervise care. For feed, the Purina product line and Timothy/Orchard hay are customized to the needs of each horse. Supplements are permitted at the owner’s expense and are required to be either in SmartPaks or pre-bagged. Timothy/Orchard hay will be fed in the pasture to supplement grass during the winter months. Alfalfa is available for purchase for an additional cost.

All horses are turned out in four board, wood fenced, lush paddocks and pastures with a limited number of horses. All turnouts have a run-in shed to provide shade and protection while turned out. Private turnout is available for an additional cost. A staff member is on-site during all barn hours and a team member lives on the property.

A dedicated farm team maintains the property, ensuring the quality of the grass in paddocks, safety and security of all fencing and pasture, regular maintenance of the barn, daily dragging of the arenas, and other tasks vital to the continued operation of the farm. They also perform maintenance of all equipment including the 2019 Ford F350, six horse and two horse Sundowner trailers available to trailer boarders’ horses as needed.
